Artificial Intelligence: Microsoft, Google appear to be taking lead – Wedbush

WORLD, Oct. 10 – The fast growing AI industry appeared to be majorly driven by Microsoft and Alphabet’s Google, brokerage Wedbush says in its survey focused on generative AI.

According to Reuters, 27% of overall decision makers view Microsoft as the top player currently in this gen AI arms race vs 24% for Google – Wedbush Proprietary Enterprise Generative AI survey shows.

Brokerage expects gen AI spending on the enterprise side to increase over the next 3 to 5 years

Views lead players in the cloud service space as the key winners, including Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Meta Platforms and Amazon.com.

In IT infrastructure and security, IBM is still the more prominent name as the use cases are still in its works – brokerage.
